Dr. David W. Gordon, O.D., has had his practice at the same location since 1982. He resides in the same area. In January, 2006, in a special election he was elected to serve on the Burbank City Council. He cares about his community and about his patients. It is his desire and that of his staff to provide the clearest vision possible for each of those in his care.
Dr. Gordon is also TPA Certified. That is, he can prescribe medications for eyes.
Each patient's own personal needs are taken into careful consideration. Do you spend hours browsing the web? Do you work at a computer all day? Do you enjoy sports? Does your work or hobby involve a lot of fine, close work? Do your eyes need protection from dust, chemicals, intense light or other hazards? These are questions which are often overlooked during a hurried eye exam, but not in this office.
Dr. Gordon also provides pre- and post-operative care for laser surgery patients in cooperation with Dr. Robert Maloney, M.D. and other surgeons. Dr. Maloney, former director of UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute Laser Refractive Center, now has his own laser refractive surgery center-Maloney Vision Institute, which you can contact by visiting maloneyvision.com. Dr. Gordon cares enough about his patients to accompany them during their surgery. With this team, you will have the finest care possible.

Dr. Gordon's staff provides personal attention to each patients needs and desires. Hablamos Español. There are three opticians on staff, Patty, Brenda and Jorge. Jorge manages the lab. Patty and Brenda manage the front office. Paola is our ever-friendly receptionist and optical assistant. The entire staff is courteous, friendly, helpful and caring. Any vision insurance you have can be verified before your scheduled appointment, usually on-line. The office offers a "frequent replacement" package for contact lens users.
